The doctor has had many adventures in his life, some good, some great, and others just the worst, and today was like any other, earlyer that day the doctor and clara had recieved a stess signal from a drifting ship, the ship itself was old and run down, so the doctor went in to investigat dispite claras bad feeling about going on, and thats when things whent wrong.

"EXTERMINAT! EXTERMINATE!" screamed the dallects as they chased after the doctor and clara.

"clara, get into the tardis!" yelled the doctor as he waved his sonic screwdriver at each dalect, disturbng the electronics in the suits.

"what about you?" she said as she shot dalects with a ray gun she found on the floor.

"i'll be fine, you need to get to safety!"

being trusting, clara turned and ran to the tardis where she would be safer from the dalects, once she got there she turned around to see if the doctor was behind her only to find him standing, just standing, amongst the dalects, the figting had stoped and everything was silent, everything except for on large dalect that moved to the front of the dalect line.

"no, impossible, this cant be!" said the doctor in shock.

"doctor!" yelled clara as she tried to get his attention.

"THE TIME HAS COME FOR THE TIME LORDS TO END!" said the dalect as it raised its weapon and fired on the doctor.

"no!" yelled clara as she ren to the falling doctor.

"THE TIME WAR IS OVER, THE DALECTS HAVE WON!" screamed the dalects.

clara ran through the hord of dalects as they chanted ver and over about the dalects, not even bothering about her.

back inside the tardis, clara could still hear the dalects chanting around the tardis.

"doctor, doctor!"

the doctor grunted in reply, slowly getting up.

"what was that doctor?"

"that, my dear clara, was an assasin dalect, one out of three that were made, i thought they had all been killed in the war, but it seams this one survived." the doctor walked slowly to the center of the tardis.

"will you be all right?"

"sadly no, no time lord has ever lasted an attack from that kind of dalect, they work by killing the hearts of the time lord one at a time."

"but you'll just regenerat right?"

"no clara, this is my last body, the time of the doctor has truly ended, gah!'

"doctor!?"

"the affects are hapening, i am dieing."

"no, no, there must be a way."

"oh no, there is no way to survive this." the doctor turned around and started to flip switches, pressing buttons, and spinning wheels.

"what are you doing doctor?"

"i am taking you home, the tardis is set to self destruct as soon as i die, i wouldent want you to be traped on another world, or in another time other than yours once that happens."

the trip was silent from then on, which wasnt very long.

back on earth in claras time the sky was blue, the world was moving, nothing seamed to know about the doctors death, the wold moved on in its jolly way.

clara looked around her world then looked back at the doctor as he leand on the door way of the tardis.

"what will the univers do without you doctor?"

"im not sure, but this was bound to happen at some point in time."

"so this is goodbye then."

the doctor noded his head, "goodbye clara"

as clara turned away she heard the doctors last words to her, words that she hadent heard in some time. "good bye, my impossible girl." clara turned around to see the doctor but only glimpsed the tardis leaving. 

"goodbye." she said with tears in her eyes.

back in the tardis the doctor walked around he tardis, taking in everything about the tardis befor it all went up in flames.

"goodbye." said the doctor as his last heart died, the tardis self destroied itself minuest after the doctor fell to the floor, no longer alive.
